Reflecting on “Live at Razzia”

On May 19th we launched our first of its kind “Live at Razzia” concert series with a performance from Marc Sway, one of the strongest soul and rock voices of Switzerland.

From the Hallenstadion, a venue in Zurich where he performed in front of 12 000 fans, Marc Sway travelled to Razzia to perform for our 120 guests in the former Cinema hall. A long time ago he fell in love with this location and years later his sold-out concert at Razzia has come full circle.

The exclusive “Live at Razzia” event commenced with a three-course dinner created by Chef Ekundayo Oduwaiye, offering high-quality meat and vegetarian dishes. The guests enjoyed a fresh asparagus salad, beef fillet with rosemary potatoes, potato mille-feuille with sautéed mushrooms. The dinner was concluded by a delicate rhubarb & rose dessert.

In between courses, Mike Gut, the owner of Razzia, held a Q&A session, where guests had an opportunity to get an insight into Razzia not only as a restaurant, but also as a cultural venue. Mike was accompanied by Sheila, his wife and a business partner, along with their two sons who supported them throughout the event.

The dinner was followed by a concert on an intimate stage featuring Marc Sway, an accomplished Swiss singer and songwriter, and an afterparty with DJ Carol Fernandez. It was a great beginning to the “Live at Razzia” concert series that received wonderful feedback from the attendees. We are proud to have achieved the core mission, leaving our guests happier than when they arrived. Looking to the future, we hope to continue this momentum and share this experience with our guests – both old and new.
