Razzia Kultur AG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gut Gastronomie AG, owned by Mike Gut, and operates the Restaurant & Bar Razzia.

Expectations

In the position of Chef de Rang, you are responsible for the well-being of our guests. In our multifaceted operation, you independently manage your own service station with charm and expertise.

You prepare the restaurant efficiently and with attention to detail according to mise en place guidelines, actively helping to shape your workspace.

With your solid professional knowledge, you provide individual recommendations and accompany guests on their culinary journey.
You take care of guests from welcome to payment, becoming their direct point of contact.

Your Profile

You are a personality for whom hospitality, warmth, and a strong sense of quality come naturally. Patience, resilience, and strategic thinking set you apart, and you remain focused even in hectic situations.
You have fluent German skills and have completed training as a service professional, or you already have experience in the gastronomy industry.

As a Chef de Partie, you are the driving force at your station. You thrive in the dynamic kitchen environment and never lose sight of what matters most — the quality on the plate — even in hectic situations.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Daily mise en place
  • Preparing and developing dishes
  • Ordering and goods receipt control
  • Participation in banquets
  • Cleaning duties in accordance with HACCP hygiene regulations

 

Your profile:

  • Completed culinary training
  • Cooking is not just a job for you, but a calling. You identify with your craft and strive to delight every guest.
  • You enjoy and have a strong interest in preparing fresh ingredients and master their proper handling.
  • You are reliable, responsible, and able to recognize connections. You think proactively and contribute your own ideas to help shape our menu.

You take care of guests from welcome to payment, becoming their direct point of contact.

Event Manager (MF) - Starting immediately or by arrangement + -

Razzia Kultur AG is 100% owned by Gut Gastronomie AG, founded by Mike Gut, and operates the restaurant and bar Razzia.

In 2014, a restaurant and event venue with around 120 seats and an adjoining bar was created in a listed former cinema hall in Zurich’s Seefeld district. The stylishly renovated neoclassical building combines elements of the 1920s with contemporary design. RAZZIA is an experiential space where gastronomy, staging and emotion merge into a unique overall world. Four independent departments work together as one ensemble with a shared signature.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technical infrastructure and top-level culinary execution, set within the backdrop of an old cinema, there are virtually no limits to the staging of events. Our clientele includes international guests, local businesses and neighbourhood residents with something to celebrate. When there is a special occasion, Razzia is the place to be.

Event Manager

  • You are operationally responsible for managing the events department, planning, organising and briefing the kitchen and service teams
  • You curate the exclusive and unique RAZZIA stage for high-quality events. Each event is conceived as a complete experience and leaves a lasting impression. An event is far more than food and beverage – it is an immersive experience that must resonate with both clients and guests
  • Implementing new ideas and acquiring new clients comes naturally to you
  • You see organising private and corporate events as a rewarding team effort
  • You have a flair for graphic design
  • You have training in gastronomy and solid professional experience in the events industry
  • You have a strong sense of quality and describe yourself as organised and efficient
  • You are characterised by team spirit, curiosity, flexibility and commitment
  • You are fluent in German and English and communicate confidently in an international environment
  • You are able to give clear instructions to a team, while also supporting and representing them positively where appropriate
  • Being present as the event manager and the client’s primary point of contact during events is a natural part of your professional role. This includes welcoming organisers and supporting the departments throughout the event

Administrative Duties

  • You handle phone calls during your office hours
  • You manage the email inbox and forward information to the relevant departments
  • You take à la carte reservations
  • You support the Operations Manager in their work (updating offers – print and online)

Support

  • Final operational execution of events is handled by our Operations Manager
  • The Board of Directors of Razzia Kultur AG supports you in your work
